Sergio was born in Beira, the second largest city in Mozambique after Maputo, where he grew up living with his parents and family. From an early age Sergio dreamt of having the opportunity to one day work and interact with people with different cultures and languages.
His dream became a reality in 2006, when after completing his schooling in his hometown, he decided to head to Inhambane and study at the Eduardo Mondlane University in the department of Hospitality and Tourism. At the end of 2009, during the last year of university, Sergio met Marcus, who invited him to join the Travel2Mozambique Team. In 2010, he graduated in Tourism, specialising in the business of tourist information and activity management.
Today he is a young, enthusiastic guide who is very passionate about Mozambican and world history and is also the youngest teacher at the University where he was graduated.
