Honeymoon Dream No. 5
Set in the prestigious Sabi Sand Game Reserve, which shares unfenced boundaries with the world renowned Kruger National Park, lies Kirkman’s Kamp. Kirkman’s Kamp captures the historic atmosphere of an authentic 1920s Transvaal homestead, and is one of the best loved lodges in the Sabi Sand.
Kirkman’s Kamp – 4 nights / 5 days
Day 1 – The Arrival:
You arrive in Johannesburg International Airport, and catch a connecting flight to Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport. You will be met at Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport by a friendly Kirkman’s Kamp staff member, who will drive you to Kirkman’s Kamp. The drive time is approximately 2 hours. Alternatively, you can fly from Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport to Sabi Sands Game Reserve.
Day 2 to 4 – At Kirkman’s Kamp:
It’s time to relax, unwind and enjoy the location and facilities on offer at Kirkman’s Kamp. Wander through the spacious guest areas and admire the many mementos of a time gone by. Clean lines and authentic furniture transport you to the 1920s, while sheer creature comfort is never compromised. Indulge in private time in the fascinating library or while away a few hours in front of the roaring fireplace in the guest sitting room. Mornings start off with a game drive, followed by breakfast back at the lodge. After breakfast it is up to you if you want to relax in your suite or head out for a guided walk in the surrounding bush. Afternoons and evenings have more game drives in store, and nights can be spent in the boma around a blazing campfire.
